INTRODUCTION
The manganese metal is smelted using a tilting type electric furnace. After the furnace is put out, add some lime to the bottom of the furnace. A small amount of high-silicon-manganese-silicon alloy is added to the lime. After the arc is introduced, the mixture of manganese-rich slag and lime is added. It's widely used in the produce of special steel ( such as stainless steel and high manganese steel) as deoxidation agent, desulfurizing agent and alloying element. Comparing with electrolytic manganese flakes, it is more easy to be added and with less loss. Manganese metal lump is made by remelting and ingot cast with the material of electrolytic manganese. And it contains Mn from 93%to 97%.

Use
(1) Manganese is mainly used for desulfurization and deoxidation of steel in the steel industry.
(2) Used as an alloy additive to improve the strength, hardness, elastic limit, wear resistance and corrosion resistance of steel.
(3) Used in high alloy steel used as austenite compoud element, for refining stainless steel, special alloy steel,stainless steel welding rod,etc.
(4) Used in non-ferrous metals, chemicals, medicine, food, analysis and scientific resarch.
